Pease be with you

"True Blue Friends....make you feel good and warm; they are automatically on the same wavelength; they feel genuinely sorry and come to your assistance when you're in trouble; you can speak freely to them, you don't have to be on guard, they really listen; they care about what you're doing."-Adelaide Bry

Thankyou Edd Tide click for her!

U of I Urbana

It is called "The Diana Fountain." However, it has also been termed by students as "The Bidet" due to the water shooting upwards, and also the "Eternal Douche" for the same reason. Recently, the University has lowered the water pressure and those terms are less common now.
Now I know I must get back to paimtimg!!

Many painters are afraid of the blank canvas, but the blank canvas is afraid of the really passionate painter who is daring." -- Vincent van Gogh

My Self

A spirit exists within me as another side of self. It flows threw me. It is like my blood that contains my DMA. Advisable hands feed me. These senses are inviable.

Where I am

I dwell in a world of two self dimensions. There is also a demented dementia lurking about.
Me as the Physical body. That which uses my senses as an input to my one dimension world. My brain using them like a computer to assemble data.

Past, Present, Future

The World Is Flat: A Brief History of the Twenty-First Centuryby Thomas L. Friedman
In America I have seen wars econic hills and vallies. these ups and downs seem to occur every ten years. how does the next generation like your sons and us of other cope with theae events..
THIS BOOK written a few years ago reflects on the changes that we will have to cope with,
In the last 3 decades we have the great changes in the world, Our news input has been mainly local. The changes in the world have not been reported. Most of us that determines Amerias prosperty have been indiferemt to these changes,
We suffer now by our collective narrow insight,
Our children must not be ill prepared,f0r the global changes to come.
This book may awake you to cope with social coditions past, present and future.
Thia not a radical book but a book of factual knowledge.

I remember now Lloyd why your book rang a bell. The author wrote another excellent book, "Hot, Flat and Crowded". I think I read that one last year...
Anyway, I ordered it from the library so will listen to it while I paint, (wonder how it will affect my painting?) Hope you pick up your brushes today...it's a great day to get to work in the studio!

Still Life

It's always sad to hear someone's lost their passion for painting, as has happened to Lloyd Bradbury. I think it's crucial to hold onto the fact that you once painted to your satisfaction and there's as much reason to believe you'll do so again as there is to doubt it. The 'trick' is to not obsess about end results, but to give yourself permission to enjoy the process of creation.

i agree and have lost my passion for painting at times in my life. it always feel great to get back on track
