ABOUT THE BOOK

ABOUT THE BOOK The Singularity is an era in which our intelligence will become increasingly nonbiological and trillions of times more powerful than it is today—the dawning of a new civilization that will enable us to transcend our biological limitations and amplify our SELF.

What I got out of the book. mY ESSAY IS BASED ON THE GENERAL OBSERVATION OF A NON SCIENTIFIC BACKGROUND AS EXTENSIVW AS THE AUTHORS.

Voices of Vision book #61318. The Singularity is near.
A very comprehensive book that states we are evolving towards a machine type existence. His major point is that technology is exponential. This is a curve mathematically stating that the beginning of any change is greatest and the ending of the curve is flat with respect to time. This curve then shows that the rate if change is minimal. We as humans are linear in nature. All our functions and sensors are linear. This is because we see the change of time as a linear function. True time that exsistis in the universe is actually a mathematical curve function. To us, time seems to speed up and slow down, only Dependant upon a relative landmark. What this means in time we're only a biological function of 100 years. So our experience is based upon our life expectancy. But the biological evolution is based on no time line. This means that the beginning and end of time is not defined. And the environment and the biological environment is not a linear rate of change because we have starts and stops and different reates of change over time, which can be based mathematically on S curves. All forces around us whether gravity or energy, do no display linear functions in their creation and decay.

1. An example , we view history in centuries and realated to our life expectancy. The maximum generation is 100 years. This is our expectaion of an ideal time of life. But we will observe a different kind of time, that time is based on the intelligent design of machines. This time is not in any way related to our longevity. This time is based on our brain to create change in technology.
2. We created a car. This tool we drive everyday and there fore we think we must have a car everyday of our life. The technology advancements will eliminate the car, may be in our life time. So we view the car as changing very little in our life time, but as we know the car has evolved dramatically with in our life time. So what we precive as reality based on linear observations can be changed by a greater nonlinear change in technology.
The world changes at a time line created by man which is linear, but man does not realize that he's generated a non time line based on technology.

Next!

WE we are truly wired. The process developing will create three ages of man. These ages of man will be; Bio child, Adult bio machine and Machibe.
Our Itelegent design
is coded in our DNA
Our code is being constantly updated and improved.
Will we go the full cycle?

Hi Lloyd! Be patient. When I had my cochlear device implanted in 1997, it wasn't magic. The amazing things that happened from my implanted hearing device happened many months later. Like painting it took time and practice with the device. Then you enjoy the magic of all this robotic devices.

I have a bladder stimulator in me/

Q: How does the bladder stimulator work?
A: The Implanted Bladder Stimulator allows you to control your bladder using an electrical device. This system includes a stimulator that is placed under the skin of your belly that is similar to a heart pacemake
Comments:
That's cool. I am trying to imagine what it is like to need this. As one who needs the loo too often, it seems like an exotic idea.

The Horsemen

The Horsemen we share
Look at me
look at you
Your face
What race
What nation
together do dare
goodness to share
We must Unite
the Horsemen to fight
The "Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse" is a term used to describe four horsemen that appear in the Christian Bible in chapter six of the Book of Revelation. The verses traditionally describe the four horsemen as Conquest, War, Famine, and Death.

Lloyd's View.. The horsemem remind us we are not Gods!

We are but One

Bless the Animals!

Those in a blue sea
share creation with me
We are but one
Til time is done
All animal will be there
To judge our Fair
When soon will come
What is done

As the bells ring

The cracked pot by Sandy Carlson http://slchome.blogspot.com/

Saturday, May 02, 2009The Cracked Pot , http://slchome.blogspot.com/
An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do. After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream. 'I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.'

The old woman smiled, 'Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side? That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them. For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table. Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house."

Thanks to dad for this one!
Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding. You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them. So, to all of my crackpot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Blue Near Warren Dunes.. Pixs taken by Daughter...

Near Warren Dunes an hour from Chicago.... Blueberries continue to generate increased interest for their potential health giving properties. According to research currently underway at the USDA Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University, blueberries top the list of some 40 fruits, juices, and vegetable in their antioxidant activity. Concord grape juice is next on the list with about two thirds of the antioxidant activity of blueberries followed by strawberries, kale, and spinach.

SING "HOW GREAT THOU ART" Praise the Grand Designer (God) who created the sunset for us to enjoy. Who said that there is no such thing as free? This is a free show beyond comparison. God never made a stingy sunset. Look! What beautiful colors He put into the sunset! Chrome yellow, lemon, orange, saffron, peach, crimson, and and amber. The sun turns light peach, burnt orange, then maroon before it slips away. Tomorrow will be another day. A new day to start anew. A new painting to inspire others.

GET A NET !

Most People look like their pets !!! !
Nessa has left a new comment on your post "GET A NET !": You know I'd be a butterfly....................................
Butterfly lady
A wizard once ask a lady,
When you come again.
Would you like to be,
Horse, muffin or wren?
The lady smiled and said,
In her sweet voice.
It is very nice of you,
To give me a choice.
I would not care to be,
Any one of these creatures.
For I do not like,
Any of their features.
The wizard thought,
I will make her glad!
For I would not ever,
Plan to make her sad.
He answered to her,
How about a butterfly?
Can you guess?
The reason why.
The lady said,
I think I know.
It is beautiful to see,
And it is also quite free,
They both agreed,
It should be done.
Was this a story?
All jest and fun?
