Stone house 1876 Watson home Riverside Lawn

Ebb Tide has left a new comment on your post "Union Train Station ~ Chiczgo Il.": Hi Lloyd! Thanks for dropping by. What is that "THANKS" for? I enjoy looking at the photos of your snow bunny trip. Someday, I hope to visit Chicago Art Institute. Maybe in the SUMMER!!!!!! I am a warm weather person you know. Isn't that interesting that artists like contrast not only in their painting but also w/ weather?

Comments:
That looks like a house I would love to live in. I have always been fascinated with houses that have turrents.

Hi Lloyd, Thanks for visiting my blog. I agree---we are spoiled!!!! BUT--you gotta remember--ZERO is cold for us here in the south!!!!! I've never lived in the north--so wouldn't have a clue what to do in weather like you all have.

Love that old house. I always wanted to live in an old house--and fix it up. I have a friend in Texas who bought a beautiful old home. Those old homes are just made so much better than the new ones these days--even if you have to renovate.

Thanks again for dropping by.
Betsy
