Wolf of
Vilkas
The iron wolf of Lietuva (Lithuania).
Long time ago, a duke went hunting boar. (A fiercer wild pig). He grew tired of the hunt. So he laied down to rest near the bank of the Neris River. He dreamed of a wolf clad in iron armor. Vilkas- the wolf, spoke to him”Build me a fortress here and you will rule a nation!” He awoke and swore to build a fortress. This fortress still stands on the bank of this river. You can see it in the capital city of Lithuania, In the city called Vilnus.
