I Live in my bunker across from Riverside lawn.. There are no trees on my side of 39 street. On the riverside lawn side there are 200 year oak trees.
A Storm blew threw here at 60 MPH.. Only one tree fell. There 50 trees around this tree. It was a tall healthy tree. But nature chose it to die this day.
I pondered this event, That trees and people must obey natures call. The satisfaction Of the tree must be that one of mans machines went too. Nature strikes again.
Onother view of natures war with man and his machines

From Marion Boddy-Evans, your Guide to Painting
"You start off with a blank canvas, and day by day, week by week, you add a brushstroke here, a brushstroke there, and something comes to life in front of your eyes. What could be more magical than that?"-- Chuck Close, in Chuck Close Life by Christopher

My World Tuesday: Sorrow, Grief, Belief \This sculpture adorning a grave site at Riverside Cemetery in Waterbury, Connecticut, is one of my favorite subjects to photograph. There is so much heart and life in this figure. She is so young, yet so sad. She writes, "He shall live" on the smooth and shiny granite. I swear she really wants to believe it.
